Thoughtfully prepared for up to four guests, this romantic getaway features one king bed, one queen bed, and an optional Pack ’n Play for little ones. Comfort & Design The home spans two levels of modernized country charm, blending warmth with contemporary comfort. • Ground floor: A serene king bedroom with TV and a queen bedroom, both with wall heaters, fans, plush towels, crisp white bedding, comfortable mattresses, robes, and beautiful, calming décor. • Bathroom: A bath and shower combination in warm stone colors with a double vanity. • Upper level: A light-filled living space with a stunning wood-vaulted ceiling, mini-split heating and cooling, an open kitchen with coffee bar, and a spacious living and dining area that seats up to eight guests. The kitchen is well-stocked with cookware, utensils, and essentials for intimate meals and relaxed dining experiences. Guest access Arrival, Access and Privacy at The Red Barn House The Red Barn House is a thoughtfully designed rustic-luxury modern farmhouse retreat, offering peaceful surroundings with the ease of a convenient location. Just minutes from the local city center, SEA Airport and major motorways, the home is easy to access while feeling calm and removed from everyday noise. All roads leading to the property are fully paved, clearly marked and easily accessible in a standard two-wheel-drive vehicle. Your arrival begins along a long private road and driveway, gently winding through open fields, neighboring ranches and pastoral farmland. The setting is scenic and distinctly Pacific Northwest, creating a relaxed and welcoming sense of arrival. Private parking for up to two vehicles is located directly in front of The Red Barn House. Check-In Experience Arrival details and access instructions will be provided on the day of your stay. Guests may enjoy seamless self check-in or a warm in-person welcome when the homeowners are staying at the nearby Mountain View House during your visit. Privacy, Views and Setting The Red Barn House is positioned approximately 100 feet from the main Mountain View House and is naturally screened by mature evergreens, greenery and thoughtful landscaping. The surrounding space feels open, natural and private while remaining part of a beautifully shared property. From the home and private patio, enjoy peaceful views of the surrounding landscape, with clear-day views of the Cascade Mountain Range and Mount Rainier. You may occasionally see the homeowners or main-house guests passing along the long private road and driveway, however your stay remains quiet, comfortable and respectful of personal space. House Care and Comfort To preserve the comfort and quality of the home, The Red Barn House is strictly no smoking and no vaping, shoes-free indoors and animal-free. These guidelines are in place due to homeowner allergies to smoke and pet dander. For your comfort, complimentary disposable slippers are provided upon entry. All additional visitors of more than 4 guests or visitors must receive homeowner pre-approval prior to booking. The house cannot accomodate large parties due to septic and insurance. Guests may also occasionally see ir meet the homeowners tending to farm or yard care in the open fields beyond the Red Barn House, around the main Mountain View house ( secondary house on the Mountain View property), or traveling along the shared driveway and long private road. With the openness of the land, there is a natural sense of space and distance throughout the property. We are mindful of guest comfort and always strive to maintain a calm, respectful, private yet welcoming environment during your stay. The Red Barn House is tucked among mature trees and greenery within this open acreage. The main farmhouse may be partially visible ( car port and partial side view of the main house) approximately 150–200 feet away through natural screening, allowing the Red Barn House to retain a tranquil, nature-immersed atmosphere while still being part of a spacious shared 5 acres. Relax on the private Red Barn patio, designed for comfort and connection with the outdoors. Enjoy your exclusive hot tub, fire pit, and propane BBQ. The hot tub includes a wooden privacy screen for added comfort and privacy. On clear days, take in views of Mt. Rainier and the Cascade Mountain Range across the open valley landscape. Please note that mountain views are weather-dependent and cannot be guaranteed especially in winter months as fog and cloud cover change dramatically throughout the winter months. . Refunds cannot be provided if Mt. Rainier or the Cascade Mountain Range is obscured by clouds or weather patterns. Queen bedroom • Both bedrooms feature wall heaters, fans, comfortable mattresses, fresh bed linens and comforters, cozy robes and fresh towels and blankets. • Upstairs is an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining, and living area, showcasing expansive views over the gardens and valley. There are no curtains or blinds upstairs to preserve the scenery and natural light, yet the windows are high enough for guests to few comfortable in enjoying this open design to soak in the nature and light from outdoors whike still feeling a sense of privacy indoors. • Exclusive hot tub with privacy screen, propane BBQ, dining area and fire pit on the Red Barn patio • Laundry facilities located in the unfinished garage adjacent to the Red Barn House, available upon request. • Full-house generator for rare power outages • High-speed Wi-Fi (100 mb/s), suitable for remote work and streaming • Strictly pet-free and smoke-free. Guests are asked to follow these requirements. Failure to do so may result in immediate cancellation of the stay as homeowners family have severe pet dander and smoke allergies. • No vaping, smoking, recreational drug use, wood fires or candles anywhere inside or outside the home • The property is not fully fenced. Guests are responsible for supervising children and others at all times • Guests do not have access to the main Mountain View House, Valley Gardens, Overlook Gardens, the main house private patio, or hot tub • For stays longer than two weeks, a mid-stay clean is required. This will be charged at the same rate as the standard cleaning fee and added as a special payment request through Airbnb after booking. Guests booking longer stays agree to this bi-weekly charge, which helps maintain the home at the high standard of cleanliness expected Property and Security • The long private road and driveway are shared with Mountain View House guests or homeowners who may be staying during your visit • Security cameras operate 24/7 at all entrances and exterior sides of the Red Barn House and record video and audio • Tampering with or covering cameras will result in immediate cancellation of the stay • No extra visitors, parties, or events are permitted.
