Lakes Studio is a sweet little space situated on the border of Newport and South Kingsville in inner West Melbourne. Newport is approx. 15 mins from the CBD via car or train. We are less than 5 mins walk from a couple of cafes, restaurants, a small grocer and laundromat and a short 5 min bus ride from a shopping centre for anything larger you may need. On the doorstep is Newport Lakes precinct, comprising of self guided walks, birdlife, dog walking and great picnic spots. The space Our studio is in a separate building to the main house. Its a lovely little private space above the garage (Note: there is a flight of stairs) comprising of a comfortable queen bed, kitchenette and bathroom. Access to the studio is via a separate entry door off our back laneway so you don’t even need to interact with us, unless you want to of course! We are very friendly and on site for anything you may need. The studio is best suited to 2 people due to its size but can accommodate a baby and portacot in need (portacot can be provided upon request). The studio has a basic kitchenette with bar fridge and breakfast appliances (microwave, kettle and toaster). We offer as standard, tea (various varieties), coffee, milk (please advise if you would like plant based milk as we have oat and almond in the main house we can provide) cold water and a snack item. Guest access Free street parking on the surrounding streets. No parking on the property. Other things to note There are no cooking facilities in the studio (except basic breakfast) but there are cafes and restaurants within 5 mins walk and many home delivery options in the area! Just ask if you’d like any recommendations.
