Enjoy watching abundant wildlife from every window and listening to the gentle stream while sitting in the private garden. This cabin is located close to downtown and next door to hosts yet feels secluded. It's perfect for the business traveler and couples. This charming guest cabin was recently remodeled (July 2022). It sits on just over an acre and a half along with the main house. It is 1200 square feet with a first floor entry, 1/2 bath and sauna and a second floor living room with sleeping alcove, dining area, full kitchen, bedroom and full bath. The comfortable queen beds have mattress protectors for cleanliness and quality linens for a great nights sleep. Stainless steel appliances, coffee and tea station and well stocked kitchen provides a pleasant place to prepare a meal. Roku TV, bluetooth speaker and washer/dryer make this the perfect home away from home. Parking Off street parking for one car. Please contact us if you need space to accommodate an additional vehicle, boat, trailer etc...Please do not park on the concrete pads in front of the garage. You will not have access to the garage. Outdoor You will have access to three sides of the building. The creek wraps around the west and south sides of the cabin. 1. The east side for parking. Trash receptacles are also located here. 2. The south side garden has an entry walkway, gas fire pit with chairs and grassy area. 3. The west side has a small covered wooden porch where the front door is located as well as an outdoor dining table and bbq. We live next door and are available if you need something. The quiet neighborhood has homes on one side of the street only with a large pasture on the other where wildlife can often be seen. The road dead ends so there is limited traffic. We live next door so we are available in case of emergencies. Downtown is within walking distance. The Town Park is only two blocks away with a walking path. We cannot accept pets or children due to the changing dynamics of the creek and the unpredictable nature of the wildlife if you don't maintain proper distance.
