Welcome to this modern, spacious suite with beautiful views from every window of Golden's spectacular mountain ranges and legendary Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The deck overlooks a quiet park and town centre is just a short walk, via a unique timber frame pedestrian bridge, as are scenic biking and walking trails. Brew a beverage at the coffee bar and curl up and relax next to the large, stone, gas fireplace after a day of skiing or adventure. Come stay with us and experience Golden. The space The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your favourite meals including a variety of herbs and spices, oil and condiments. There is a coffee bar with coffee beans, grinder, drip coffee maker, french press, Nespresso, Keurig and pour-over carafe,(sugars and coffee whitener provided). Also, an assortment of teas. (bring extra Nespresso or Keurig pods if this is your preferred choice). The master bedroom has extra blankets for your comfort, an air exchange system and closet with shelving to store your items. The den across the hall is cozy ie: small (107" x 69") and features a comfortable double bed, large window, ceiling fan, double barn doors for privacy and individual reading lighting. The bathroom features a large walk-in shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, hand soap, blow dryer and plenty of towels. The living area has comfortable seating, extra blankets, books, games and a toasty warm gas fireplace to make you feel at home. Also, a Smart TV complete with a full cable package (news, sports, movies & entertainment). There is also access to your favourite apps ie: Netflix, Prime, Paramount +, Pluto and more. There is a private balcony, with seating, off the main living area with views of the Purcell mountains and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Lunos, built-in air exchange system and heat pump keep the air fresh and provides continuous heat and air conditioning. Sorry, NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS. Guest access The suite is exclusively for guests. We live in the back of the property and strive to give you complete privacy. Laundry is not provided in the suite but if you need to do laundry let us know and we can arrange for you to use our laundry area. Skis and snowboards are not permitted in the unit but we can provide garage storage upon request. Note: we also have access to the garage. Other things to note There is off street parking for one vehicle. If you are bringing 2 vehicles you can park one behind the other. Stairs on the exterior lead up to the suite. We have a yellow lab that lives on the property but she is in the back yard so you likely won't see her. She is friendly but does bark when people arrive. WE DO NOT ALLOW GUESTS TO BRING PETS. The suite is not suitable for children due to safety issues. Your accommodation is attached to our home in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Although our suite is new and has maximum sound proofing, you may still hear sounds such as the TV from the bathroom area. You don't hear anything from the main living space as the garage is below.
