Room 1A Historic Central Park near Ricketts Glen

Make yourself at home at the Gateway to The Gamelands! Floor level unit #1 is in the annex building of the historic Central Park Hotel; the best little food and beer joint around! This 1800s era building in the midst of the Appalachian Mountains is full of charming quirks but clean and cozy. There's a lively atmosphere on weekends, plus endless hiking and outdoor activities, with Ricketts Glen State Park being just 6 miles down the road. Follow us on insta @pagamelands for updates! The space You will be staying in our Annex building; a tan house with red shutters on the corner of Central Road and Jamison Road, right next door to our restaurant & bar- Central Park Hotel; the best kept secret in Benton! Your room is just through the front door to the right and features two double beds and a private, attached bath with basic amenities, a small coffee station and wifi. Our neighborhood is mostly quiet and peaceful at night and often you can hear the rushing of the river just across the road. Don't forget to take a peek at the sky on a clear night for a beautiful star-lit view! Guest access Guests have private access to their room. There is some outside seating on the porch that you may utilize and you are more than welcome at the hotel next door! Come on over for a bite to eat and some drinks - we would love to meet you! Other things to note Please note: You'll be experiencing the feel of a very small, rural town! Please be sure to enable wifi-calling as cell phone service is VERY limited in the mountains! Wifi information is in your room. As a friendly reminder, this house is a fair distance from larger shopping areas. There is a Dollar General store about 7 mins southeast in Red Rock, PA and a Mountain Fresh Supermarket about 10 mins more east of there. There's plenty to do in the area during the day, but we do recommend grabbing necessities/snacks*, besides the basics that are provided for you, on the way! *For your convenience, there is a community mini fridge and microwave at the top of the steps. Feel free to store your leftovers/drinks there during your stay but please be respectful of other people’s things. We ask that you please take your items and clear your trash from the area before checking out! We have a lively atmosphere next door on the weekends! While staying in our Annex building, we do ask you please be courteous to your neighbors.
