The house is ideally situated to visit Mont St Michel, (30 mins by car), the Normandy Landing Beaches and the delightful, historic cities of Dinan, Dinard, St Malo and the "Gateway to Brittany" Fougeres . An excellent base for a cycling holiday - surrounded by quiet rural roads in gently rolling countryside, and very close to an off-road “green route” which is part of both the Tour de Manche and Eurovelo 4 (Roscoff-Kiev) long-distance routes. The space A welcoming home-away-from-home gite set in an extensive beautiful garden surrounded by the lovely Normandy countryside. A large, fully-equipped kitchen, a comfortable lounge and a separate dining room provide ample space for family holidays. The lush garden has a dedicated space for alfresco dining facing the garden, plus seating along the sun-facing terrace outside the kitchen, dining room and salon. The house sleeps up to seven people. Upstairs, there is a master bedroom with a king size bed, a dressing room and an ensuite bathroom. In addition there is a family bedroom with a standard double bed, a single bed suitable for a child or teenager, and with ample room for an additional cot, and a separate single bedroom There is a spacious upstairs bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a second bathroom with a shower and toilet downstairs. A utility room allows for laundry to be done efficiently and unobtrusively. There is a further possibility of accommodating two additional people on the ground floor (for a total of nine people) by special arrangement with the owner. Guest access Access is available to all but 2 rooms which have private signage on the doors. Other things to note The house has a fibre broadband connection with a WiFi repeater in the dining room that extends the signal throughout the house. The speed was recently reported as 65Mbps.
