Our large studio cottage is located in the country between cotton and alfalfa fields. Private and quiet. Close to amazing hiking and biking areas. Great Mexican food restaurants in area (salsa trail). Pool available (unheated). Nice queen bed and couch. Very comfortable for 2 but can accommodate 4 with an air matress we can supply. Queen sized bed and Full sized air mattress. Full kitchen with stove and oven, double sink, microwave and full size refrigerator/freezer. No dishwasher. Small table for 4. Full size bathroom with tiled, walk in shower. Washer and dryer in cottage. Closet. Central Heating and air conditioning. Free WiFi. No television or landline phone. (Cell phones work fine here). Built in Reverse Osmosis drinking water filtration in Cottage. No pets allowed. Cottage is adjacent to our family home. Pool is available but may be shared with family. Backyard and Patios may be shared with family although usually they are empty. Broadband WiFi included. We live in adjacent house and are available for any questions or concerns. Quiet farming area. (Occasional tractor noise nearby). Located 2 hrs NE of Tucson, 2 hrs west of Silver City and 3 hrs SE of Phoenix. High desert area with an Elevation of 3000 feet. Warm winter days and cool summer nights. Local population approximately 25,000. Beautiful nights with tons of stars! (Several of the worlds largest telescopes are located on nearby Mount Graham). Within 20 minutes of Roper Lake state park and Gila Box recreation area. Within 1 hour of the top of Mount Graham (10,800 feet) for hiking, camping or playing in the snow. Also 45-90 minutes from Chiricahua National monument, Fort Bowie, Arivaipa Canyon. Safford is 3 miles and Eastern Arizona College is 6 miles from cottage. Several popular hot springs in the area. Convenient parking. No public transportation in the area. Close to cross country bike routes. Plenty of places to run or bike nearby, both on public trails and between farms. The last 1/3 mile to the cottage is on a graded, gravel surface road. Cottage is about 450 square feet and is located next to main house where we live. You will definitely be able to experience country living as we are located amidst working cotton and alfalfa farms. Although the cottage is only 3 miles from the center of town (Safford), The last 1/3 mile to the cottage is on a graded, gravel surface road which can be muddy in the event of rain. We have a friendly, miniature Australian Shepherd dog which is usually in the backyard.
