Beautiful two bedroom, one bath home in quiet, walkable Lakewood neighborhood, with quick and easy access to I-90 & downtown Cleveland. Perfect for a family, this home has more than 1,100 sq ft of space and all the amenities. Charming, relaxing, and always professionally cleaned. We love our home and our guests, and we think it shows. Our Home Away From Home is the entire first floor of our 2,300 sf 1920's Colonial. The space is comfy, roomy, and conveniently located. The quiet neighborhood street and comfortable bedding means you’ll get a great night’s sleep. Walk to quirky and diverse restaurants, bars, and shops or hop on the freeway for a short drive to downtown Cleveland. The large, bright front living room overlooks the big front porch and has a comfortable couch, leather chair with ottoman, big coffee table, a large flat screen smart TV, and a big coat closet. That front porch spans the full width of the house and overlooks the peaceful neighborhood street. We have a ton of books, games, and puzzles to help you unwind and relax. The big screen has DIRECTV with countless channels, and naturally we have wi-fi throughout. The large kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, and utensils. Stainless steel appliances include a full-sized refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher (a rarity around here), and coffee maker. With plenty of counter space, the kitchen is ideal for couples cooking. But if you’d rather have someone else do the cooking, there are many fantastic restaurants in the area for every taste. The separate dining room provides plenty of room to enjoy the gourmet meals you create... or an XL pizza from Angelo’s! The main bedroom includes a queen bed, dresser, nightstand, closet, and a large window. We provide an alarm clock, lamp for night reading, iron, and ironing board. The second bedroom has a large bunk bed with two double beds, a dresser, closet, and two windows. The clean bathroom features a tub and large detachable shower head with excellent water flow. LeBron James wouldn’t have to duck his head for this shower! We stock the bathroom with shampoo, soap, and plenty of cleaning supplies. The home features hardwood floors throughout with tile in the bathroom. Other amenities include high speed wireless internet, ceiling fans, central heat and central A/C, built-in USB chargers for all your devices, and the original charm of our 1920’s Home Away From Home. Access the entire apartment including the dedicated washer and dryer in the basement. We keep detergent in stock, so no need to bring your own. Feel free to do your personal wash during your stay, or wash the bedding and towels if you'd like. The housekeeper will take care of all the wash and laundering of the towels and bedding when you depart. Please park in the driveway, as close to the garage as possible and to one side, so there's enough room for our wonderful full-time upstairs tenants to park without anyone being blocked-in. ** PLEASE do not block any cars in. ** The upstairs tenants are fantastic... friendly and peaceful. We are very selective of our our tenants and guests. Very high-speed wifi is included, and the password will be provided when you check in. We also post it in the house.
