The farmhouse and barn are permanently rented, the ZUHAUS is an exclusive vacation home for guests who want to experience successful architecture and enjoy the Chiemgau. The space Today, the rooms of the ZUHAUS FREIWEIDACH radiate a conscious simplicity and almost monastic tranquility on 140 square meters, in which the past of the house as a coach house, bakery and washhouse can be felt. High-quality, natural materials such as the soaped fir floor or the soft linen fabrics, combined with brushed stainless steel, raw steel and soft colors let the soul rest. The house is bright and flooded with light and offers exceptional views of fields, meadows and mountains. Despite its size, the house is also very cozy for two and is often booked by couples looking for a break. It also offers space for friends and families and accommodates up to six people in three double rooms and two bathrooms, with a fully equipped kitchen, a large living-dining room, an additional small office or creative space and a wrap-around terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and parasol and a south-west roof terrace on the 2nd floor. Guest access The ZUHAUS FREIWEIDACH is located about 10 km south of Lake Chiemsee in the municipality of Marquartstein. Coming from the A8, leave the highway at the "Bernau" exit. There is often a traffic jam on the A8 behind Bernau towards Salzburg, which is best avoided. In the case of a quiet traffic situation, it is also possible to stay on the highway until two exits later (exit Übersee). If you leave Bernau, follow the signs towards Bernau / Grassau / Marquartstein. Parking including a charging station for electric cars is available right in front of the house. Bicycles can be parked at the house under the canopy protected from rain. Other things to note Due to the construction of the staircase, the house is only suitable for children 6 years and older. Pets are not allowed. Arrival & departure Your arrival is possible from 4 pm. Check-out is no later than 11 am.
