Bright and cozy, this sunny A-frame house is the perfect escape from the rush of everyday city life Rancho Relaxo offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature It’s ideal for nature lovers, families, and guests traveling with pets who want calm, open space, and a true breath of countryside freedom Just 25 minutes from Ioannina and close to the famous mountain villages of Zagorochoria, Vikos, Aristi, Papigo, Metsovo, and more, it’s the perfect base for exploring the beauty of Epirus The space Rancho Relaxo sits within our farm, Ζaravelia — a large, lush green estate filled with trees, open fields, and the peaceful rhythm of nature. Αround the property you’ll also find a few other unique houses, each with its own charm, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the farm. Our animal family lives here too: two friendly dogs "Chris" & "Roula", a gentle horse "Pyrros", and several cats who love to explore the grounds (and occasionally greet our guests). Tucked between the quiet villages of Zitsa and Protopappa, the estate offers a sense of seclusion and serenity, yet remains just 24 km from Ioannina, making it easy to reach. After a day of discovering the breathtaking landscapes, stone paths, and crystal-clear rivers of Zagorochoria, this is the perfect place to return to — a calm, cozy hideaway where you can rest, recharge, and truly unwind. Guest access Access to the farm is available ONLY BY CAR , as there is unfortunately no public transportation in the area. The route is easy to follow and takes you through peaceful countryside roads all the way to the property. Detailed driving instructions will be sent to you before your arrival, ensuring you have everything you need for a smooth and trouble-free journey to the property. We kindly ask you to take note of a few important guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone: * We strive to avoid using chemicals such as herbicides in order to protect the local flora and fauna and to ensure the safety of both humans and animals. * You are free to explore the entire estate, but please do so respectfully, keeping in mind the comfort of other visitors and the well-being of the animals. * It is important NOT to light fires outside of the designated barbecue areas. * During the night, you may hear barking from our dogs or neighboring guard dogs; this is normal and nothing to worry about.
