Description
Our guest cottage is a lovely converted 1840s-era carriage barn nestled in the heart of the Mettawee Valley in the southwest corner of Vermont. It is decorated with antiques, artworks and an upright piano. Our 65 acres on scenic Indian Hill are available for hiking & snow-shoeing. We have 12 acres frontage on the Mettawee River, rated one of the best for fly fishing in VT. Ready access to many area attractions, from local swimming holes to skiing at nearby Bromley and Stratton mountains. The space You have the entire bungalow at your disposal- including Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, dining table and chairs. First level is very accessible- only one small step to enter, grab bars in bathroom and shower seat available. A ladder stair leads to the upper level, as well as a regular stair outside, so those staying upstairs should be kids or agile adults. Please note that the microwave is intended for reheating food items only and not cooking meals. Additionally we provide compostable plates and bowls and request that no food items are washed in the bathroom sink as it is not intended for the purpose.
