Camp Pandaton is a peaceful mountain chalet with modern amenities for families to enjoy year round. Nestled along the northern border of Calaveras Big Trees State Park, you are surrounded by lakes, reservoirs, hiking trails, and of course, Bear Vally Ski Resort, all within a 30 min drive. The charming town of Murphys is 30 mins to wine tasting, fine dining, and boutique shopping. Amongst the trees, this IS the place to start new traditions and lasting memories with your friends and family. The space Enter Camp Pandaton via a long driveway, safely off the road that will accommodate 3-4 vehicles. Enter the mountain chalet via the main floor to a great room that boasts 20 feet windows, a traditional wood burning stove surrounded by a spacious living room, dining room, and well-equipped kitchen. Camp Pandaton comfortably sleeps 10 or more. The main floor also has 2 bedrooms and a full bath. One bedroom comes with a queen bed, while the other has a full size bed with a twin trundle. The upper floor has a main bedroom and another full bathroom. The bedroom comes with a queen bed and full-sized futon perfect for families with tiny tots. There is an adjacent loft perfect for the kids to watch TV, play video games and commandeer as their own space. It is furnished with a twin bed and twin trundle. The family room/gameroom has a pullout sofa bed, along with a pool table and poker table for some family fun. The gameroom also has a half bathroom with a washer/dryer for your convenience. Enjoy a meal or warm up around the fire pit, under the stars on our wrap around deck. Guest access Our long driveway is suitable for 3-4 vehicles. Street parking is discouraged for overnight especially during the winter months. Other things to note For your summer getaways, Camp Pandaton comes equipped with a kayak, stand-up paddle board, floaties, and life jackets for kids and adults. The northern side of Calaveras Big Trees State Park is accessible via a fireroad entrance just a 2 minute walk from Camp Pandaton.
