Enjoy the outdoors whether it is relaxing on the wrap-around covered deck or recreating in the Sargents Wildlife Area. There is a fireplace, outdoor fire pit, horsehoes, and grill for guests to enjoy as well. Wildlife are often spotted around the property, including deer, turkeys, elk and the occasional bear. The space **ALERT** NO A/C Bedroom 2 is technically a loft and upstairs There are 4 steps to get to the front door Located on a dirt road WINTER: Guests should be prepared to have 4WD or chains if coming in the winter This 1100 square foot cabin is the perfect getaway for those looking for a quiet retreat in the mountains. The inside of the cabin is small but has everything guests need and the fully wrapped around deck with patio furniture is a great place to enjoy the wonderful mountain weather that we get in Chama. Or stay inside and get a fire going in the wood burning stove. There is enough parking for those pulling trailers to haul horses, ATV's, or snowmobiles. Guests are also close enough to either walk, bike, or horseback ride into Sargents without having to drive as well.
