Cozy, Quiet, Private, Clean w/ FIBER INTERNET We are a farmhouse in the woods 4 miles from Thousand Hills State Park and 5 miles from Truman State University. While staying, you will feel like you are secluded amongst a forrest, yet you'll only be a 5-10 minute drive away from everything in town! The house was built in 2017 with modern finishes. The hottub is always hot and the oversized couches are always comfy. The neighborhood is family/wildlife oriented. Come unwind and relax in the sticks! The space Our patio has a fire pit with wood cut and ready to go. A charcoal grill will also be provided for your use during your stay, bring your own charcoal/lighter fluid. The patio has beautiful lights that we enjoy turning on music and slow dancing under. The hottub is hot and ready to relax you! Enjoy your morning cup of coffee from the hottub or an evening glass of wine. Our favorite part is disconnecting from our phones and connecting with each other while relaxing in the hot water. Sleeping Arrangements: We have two large bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size pillow top bed. The other bedroom is more hotel style with two double beds in one room. The office does have a futon, which lays down and can be used. An air mattress is also available upon request, which would easily fit in the office, if the futon was not being used. The kitchen has the essentials you may need: pots/pans, cooking utensils, flatware, cups, measuring cups, a few seasonings, oil, condiments, etc. We have a kuerig with k-cups and a traditional coffee pot. The living room/kitchen/dining are all open to each other. No matter what window you look out of, you will be surrounded by nature. Keep a close on eye out, as we have a lot of deer and turkey pass through the yard. We are here to serve you, so please let us know if we can provide anything specific upon your arrival. Guests may roam about the yard, but must stay in the yard only.
