Exmoor Pool House

A unique opportunity to stay in a beautifully presented , self contained pool house, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. As of 1st October, our pool is now closed until April. The pool house is perfect for a winter break, with a log burner, candles and cosy vibes throughout. Perfect for two adults or a family looking to relax and explore the area. We welcome dogs to stay with us too, and your pool zone is fully fenced off to keep your dog secure so you can relax. The space The Pool House comes equipped with everything you need for your stay and any additional requests, we will do our best to provide for you. We can accommodate two adults and up to two children. There is a comfortable king sized bed and an additional mattress can be made up to sleep children and a travel cot and bedding is available for small ones if required. We can provide a baby bath, baby seat and changing mat to help you travel light. Please let us know of your requirements and we'll make sure everything is set up for you. In addition to the pool there is a football pitch and other games available if you have kids that need entertaining. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet and sink and basic toiletries and towels are available for your stay. The kitchenette is equipped with a small oven with hobs and a grill, a fridge, a toaster and kettle and cupboard space. Glass wear, crockery and cooking equipment are all provided along with essentials such as a range of teas, coffees, basic condiments and snacks. There is a gas BBQ on the patio outside the pool house for cooking outdoors with gas and BBQ utensils provided for you. The Pool House has a wall mounted 55" TV for those who fancy a movie or a bit of Netflix during your stay. The wood burner will be set, ready for you to light, and we provide the wood you will need throughout your stay. There are also two electric heaters available if required on colder nights in winter months. Please note that due to the position of the pool house, the wifi can drop in and out and we can't promise perfect connection throughout your visit unfortunately, this includes connection for the TV. We ensure we free up maximum connection for you whilst you're here. Normal phone signal is excellent though. Come and enjoy the tranquility and privacy, surrounded by fields and hills, only one mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton, the gateway to Exmoor National Park and the stunning North Devon coast. Go to sleep listening to the owls and wake up to cuddles with the Clydesdale horse over thr hedge. Guest access Access is via a gate from a shared driveway with the main house (where we live). Drive 10 metres on the gravel to your private parking right behind the pool house. There is one step up to the pool patio and a small step into the pool house. Other things to note Please note our pool is not fenced off from the pool house. It is your responsibility to keep you and your family or friends safe. There is no glass around or inside the pool. Any glass or accidents in the pool will be charged.
