The Old Music Studio - retreat with tennis court

A stay in our former music studio is an immersion in nature. After a walk in the Chilterns and a fireside drink at a country pub, relax on the large comfortable sofa and watch the wildlife in the meadow from the warmth of this cosy retreat. If you’re feeling energetic, play tennis or pickleball on our court or cycle the Phoenix Trail - (Bikes/E-bikes by arrangement.) A perfect hideaway for a romantic break, recreational weekend, peaceful remote working or just recharging your batteries. The space The main space gives you everything you need to disappear from the World. It is a light, airy generously proportioned space with an open plan kitchen and breakfast bar leading onto the living / dining area which has wide double french windows opening to one of the outside seating areas. A double bedroom is located off the living area, with a shower room adjacent to the kitchen. Underfloor heating and insulation keeps it warm in winter and cool in summer. You can cook up a storm in the kitchen or let others do the cooking in one of the many local pubs, wine and cocktail bars or restaurants. A large L-shaped sofa in the living room turns easily into a double sofa bed. The kitchen is well but simply equipped with oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher, and with a lavazza coffee pod machine. We will provide a few basics to get you started - there are plenty supermarkets in Princes Risborough (2.5m) and Thame (5m). We are close by and we encourage you to knock on the door if you need anything, but we recognise that you will want your privacy. We welcome families to the Studio (as do our female labradors who loves being fussed over but will leave you alone if you’d prefer). There is a swimming pool next to the main house about 25m from The Studio - unfortunately it is not for guests' use but please note, if you have small children, it is not covered or gated, and we cannot take responsibility for their safety. Other things to note We can provide additional bedding including 2 x anti-allergy duvets and 4 x anti-allergy pillows and protectors if required
