Halliday’s House is two cottages interconnected as one to give a very spacious three bedroom, four bathroom house. Halliday’s Folly and Halliday’s Cottage used as one large space makes Halliday’s House - sleeping 8 guests in one double bedroom, one twin bedroom both with ensuite bathrooms with a downstairs double bedroom, two further bathrooms and two sofa beds. The space Halliday’s Folly and Halliday’s Cottage are both listed separately on Airbnb. This listing combines both cottages for a maximum of 8 guests. You can really spread out here, there are two kitchens which means two cookers, two under counter fridges, a freezer and two dishwashers! There is a downstairs double bed and two bathrooms for those with restricted mobility. The house is set within a shared driveway with off road parking for four cars and there is a patio area to the front of the house for alfresco dining. WIFi is available throughout the house with a standard and an Amazon Fire TV. A washing machine and dryer are available for your use in a separate garage for those on longer stays. All bed linen and towels are provided. Greetham is a working village in the beautiful county of Rutland, very close to Rutland Water with plenty of great country walks from the doorstep. Convenient for Stamford (15 mins) and Oakham (10 mins). The village has two highly regarded pubs - The Wheatsheaf and The Plough, both serving food and are a very short walk from the cottages. The Sun Inn, Cottesmore and The Olive Branch, Clipsham are nearby for great meals too. Rutland Water offers sailing, fishing, walks and cycle hire, plus the famous Rutland Belle. Stretton Lakes are very close by for fishing. Barnsdale Gardens and Holywell Hall are also less than 10 minutes away. Greetham Valley Golf Course, driving range and Archery is 3 mins by car. The beautiful Belvoir Castle is only half an hour away. The beautiful old market town of Stamford is well worth a visit, as is Burghley House and Gardens.
