The space Stoneleigh House is a prominent, period property with private garden and secure parking for guests to enjoy during their stay. The Annex is accessed from a gravel courtyard and private entrance with welcoming topiary planting. The Annex was recently restored to include a modern kitchen, living space, separate double bedroom and ensuite. High speed WIFI is available throughout the Annex and gardens The kitchen includes an integrated washing machine, fridge with freezer compartment, electric oven, induction hob and extractor fan. A larder cupboard includes microwave, kettle and toaster. The living space includes comfortable seating and wall mounted Smart TV as well as bistro dining furniture for use inside or outside in the courtyard garden where a fire pit can be used during cooler seasons. The large bedroom with period fireplace and comfortable double bed includes an integrated wardrobe and modern ensuite. Stoneleigh House has good transport links to the A1, M1 and M62, and public transport links. Bus stops are within 1 minute walk and a local train station is within 10 minute walk (Sandal and Agbrigg Station) or there are the major stations at Wakefield city centre (Kirkgate, 1 mile or Westgate, 1.5 miles); the property is a good position for exploring the region. Sandal Castle, The Heath, Hepworth Wakefield, Hepworth Garden, Yorkshire Sculpture Park and Nostell Priory are all local attractions. We also have a lovely new Starbucks located within 5 minutes walk. Andrew lives at the main house and can be on call to help guests with anything that would improve their stay. Guest access The property has good access and public transport links. Guests are welcome to use the secure, private parking provided. On arrival the automatic vehicle gates will be open and an electric gate fob will be provided for guests to use throughout their stay. Alternatively there is a locked pedestrian gate that can be used if preferred. Other things to note Stoneleigh House is a permanent residence for Andrew, guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens, use the garden furniture and fire pit although please consider noise levels after dark. If convenient, Andrew would be more than happy to show interested guests around the the property during their stay.
