Relax in eclectic, charming Blue Haus, our rural pet-welcoming studio full of antiques and creature comforts, including a jetted tub and 2 private outdoor tubs you can fill for cool soaks after 7 pm! 8 MIN. Our area: *quiet countryside community but just 10 mins. to downtown TR *most dining/grocery stores/shops 10+ mins. away Outside spaces: *parking for 2 vehicles *unfenced side/front yard area for dogs on-leash *front seating area with fire pit and wood *private after-dark seating area with 2 galvanized soaking tubs Living area: *piano and ukulele *dining table with four chairs *vintage turntable with plenty of albums *full comfortable couch and 3 chairs, one stool, one ottoman *games and reading material *Roku Smart TV (local antenna but no cable), karaoke system, DVD player with lots of dvds *electric fireplace for ambience and/or heat *electric heater *small vintage and new items for purchase throughout (check for price tags and ask us!) If arriving in two vehicles, park one behind the other (move the cone up a bit if necessary). Please share who is coming with you, whether person or pet. Note that we can't host groups of 3 or more people or more than 3 pets. Let us know the size and breed of pets to help with our preparation. The soaking tubs area is pet-free. Smoking of any kind is allowed only outdoors: at outdoor tables, in the driveway, or just outside the front door, while the door is closed. You may use freezer, toaster oven, iron and ironing board, and any laundry supplies in moderation; other items in the laundry room are for our personal use. Our home is also on the property but is separated from Blue Haus by a carport and large parking area. If you are bringing a pet, please use front/side yard area next to the Blue Haus for play and toileting. This area is not fenced and is the only green space available to you during your stay, but there are plenty of areas around the Haus for walks. The area beyond the cattle guard gate is reserved for our Airstream guests. Blue Haus is best for smaller/calmer dogs who are happy to be mostly indoors, except for walks in the area, and dogs are NOT allowed to roam the property. We're cat-friendly, but let us know if you'll have a cat with you. Other things to note You have access after 6 pm to a private, fenced area with table and chairs and two tubs you can fill (this area is pet-free). You may use the fire pit out front at any time (we provide a couple of fire starters and a small amount of wood, and sometimes we have a fire log or two for sale).
