Hillview Haven at Hillcrest

Enjoy the natural beauty of caradon hill and the cornish countryside surrounding this historic getaway. Fabulous place to explore whole of cornwall. Visit Cheesewring, Golitha Falls, beaches of Looe and Harbour of Polperro. Fowey and Jamaica Inn, Dozmary Pool with legend of King Arthurs lady of lake and Excalibur are just a few places to visit nearby. The space This is a quiet, private, peaceful spot with rural views (caradon hill with AONB and its rich mining heritage) but has the convenience of being close to the town for all your essentials. if you are bringing your pet it is very secure here. There are beautiful local walks in immediate vecinity. There are many places to visit: Golitha, Cheesewring, Hurlers, Minions 10 mins drive and Eden Project is a short drive away. Beaches of Looe (where Beyond Paradise is filmed), Portwrinkle and Seaton are 15 mins away. Our location is perfect for exploring whole of Cornwall and has easy access to A30/A38 to visit Lizard Peninsula and Kynance Cove, Padstow and Mousehole. Guest access Theres a dedicated parking spot on our driveway for you that is safe for your car. Follow gravel path to right of our house to Hillview Haven. The shepherds hut is surrounded by cornish wall and fencing so really secure for any pet staying with you. Other things to note Hillview Haven is set within our garden grounds but very private (entire hut & decked area is secure and fenced off from the rest of the garden should you be bringing any pets this will give you added peace of mind). You can see Caradon Hill from the hut. We have a decked area and patio for your enjoyment with spectacular views across our local countryside and at night you can view the sky full of stars. Theres a BBQ for your use (with tools) and logs for the burner during your stay. Should you run out extra are available to purchase from us. Prosecco & Cream Tea on arrival (extra fee) Its an easy train ride from Paddington London to Liskeard (35 min walk from station to hut) and if you want to explore our local area on foot there are many walks that are beautiful so if youre on a mini break you can explore plenty nearby returning to hut for some well earnt rest.
