Lady A at GlampVentures | River + Hike + Kayak

Some cabins give you a place to stay. Lady A gives you somewhere to disappear for a while. At the end of a rural gravel road, you'll find her tucked in the cedars above the river. Wake to trees filling the windows, hike from your doorstep, paddle the river or claim the hammock for the afternoon. End the day fireside with the kind of quiet that's getting harder to find. Venture out to the Smokies for mountain trails, waterfalls and adventure! Then come back to your own lil corner of nowhere. The space Lady A is a cozy A-frame cabin tucked into a grove of cedars, with a queen bed wrapped in windows. At around 200 sq. ft., she's intentionally small—just enough space to settle in, slow down and enjoy what you came looking for: quiet!! Step outside and the experience continues. Your private bathhouse and outdoor shower are just a few steps away. There’s a hammock for lazy afternoons, a firepit for slow evenings and a picnic table for meals beneath the trees. Wander a little farther and you’ll find our hiking trails and river access right here on the property. Lady A keeps things intentionally simple while covering the comforts that matter. Guest access There’s more to explore beyond your little spot in the cedars. Guests are welcome to wander the property, head down to the river, watch for wildlife or spend an afternoon paddling the river. 🌊 River + shared dock The dock is about 100 yards downhill from Lady A. It’s a short walk down, but fair warning—the hike back up is a little spicy (steep)! 🥾 Onsite hiking Wander our trails through cool creek hollers or wooded ridgelines and make your way up to the sunset picnic spot for a view worth lingering over. 🛶 Kayaking Sit-on-top Kayak rentals are available for $10 each. Other things to note ☀️ She runs on sunshine Lady A is powered entirely by solar, so she likes to keep things simple. You’ll have everything needed for a comfortable stay. You won’t find a TV or Wi-Fi—but cell service keeps you connected when you want to be. 🚙 She plays a little hard to get The final stretch to Lady A is a short mountain road (.15 of a mile). If your vehicle isn't up for it, we’ve got you. Park in the main lot and we’ll shuttle you and your gear up in our 4-door Jeep, no worries! SUVs, trucks and similar vehicles with ground clearance do best, with AWD/4WD recommended when things get wet.
