Cozy Victorian with Fireplace on the Hudson

Located in the heart of Newburgh's Historic District, we overlook the beautiful park of Washington Headquarters with gorgeous views of the Hudson River and are a block from the restaurants and cafes of Liberty Street. Occupying the first floor of our completely restored 1870's Victorian home, the private and spacious 1 bedroom unit (with a living room and a kitchen/ dining room) is a five-minute walk to the Beacon ferry. The space We are so excited to welcome you to this beautiful space, which has been deep cleaned and sanitized prior to your stay. You will enter from the back patio, into a cozy bedroom with a working fireplace. Then, the kitchen and dining area, and front living room. The space is perfect for an individual or couple. There is space to spread out and also to work during the day- a desk in the bedroom and a round dining room table. There is a landscaped backyard with a barbeque, gazebo, and plenty of outdoor furniture for lounging outside, all overlooking views of the Hudson River and Washington Headquarters at the park across the street. Please note that there is a unit above and below, all three share the backyard but have separate entrances Guest access You'll have access to the entire first floor of the house, as well as the backyard. We are located just a quick 56 miles from NYC so if you're coming from the city you'll be close to home. If you want to stay local and explore Newburgh while you are here, you can take the Metro-North to Beacon, then the ferry or a taxi to Newburgh, and be on foot the entire time. If you want to explore the area more, you'll want a car.
