Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The Jail Haus was built the late 1800’s and is owned by the city of Wykoff. Bike trails, trout fishing, Forestville State park, and cave exploration. There is kayaking and tubing 10 minutes away. Open over the winter months for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, hunting and other winter activities. Playgrounds, restaurants, convenience / gas station all within walking distance. Located 40 miles south of Rochester in a town of 450 people. The space Small two rooms with bathroom. We offer a queen size comfy bed and for the adventurous, two jail cell bunks. A little narrow to sleep on but comfortable nonetheless! If you’re looking for plushy, better pass on by, but you will miss a great experience! Guest access Picnic tables and playground just behind the Jail Haus. Forestville State Park is 10 minutes south. Bike trail access located in Preston, 10 minutes SE and Fountain trailhead is 8 miles East on Highway 80. Other things to note This is an adventure you shouldn’t miss. Steeped in history and still offers comfortable lodgings. We added internet and a TV for streaming. We also have a small refrigerator and a dining area for 2. We just added a patio with 4 chairs and a fire pit. We will have wood and supplies available in a deck box on the patio. Wykoff has a pavilion and a playground located behind the Jail Haus with picnic tables that you are free to use anytime.
