It is a beautiful natural castle, quiet, facing south, with stunning views of the Ariège Pyrenees, in a large park of forests and meadows, 50 min from Toulouse. A small paradise ideal for enjoying a large family (birthdays, weddings, cousins...), creating between artists, organizing courses, seminars, or any other proposal... The space We rent the castle only for groups of at least 10 people and for at least 2 nights. We can accommodate up to 40 people: - 20 people in the bedrooms (beds made, €50/pers/night) - 20 people in the 2 dormitories (unmade beds, €40/pers/night) You will find in this castle an excellent quality of life, total relaxation, in the middle of the wilderness, yoga classes, botanical walks... All this in a clean, comfortable place and with the possibility to spend beautiful evenings with music and under the stars. In summer, you can enjoy the sun on the south-facing terrace or the coolness of the large shaded inner courtyard, while the children gallop through the park without worries. In winter, the castle is heated with wood in the kitchen, living room and 6 bedrooms. The accommodation is then limited to 14 people in the bedrooms. The castle dates from the 18th century on 14th century foundations, and has been renovated and decorated in a unique and original style, while maintaining its authenticity. Rooms are modest, clean and pretty. The whole has remained as it always was, except of course the sanitary comfort and Wi-Fi in all rooms. THE MAIN COURTYARD IS SHARED WITH AN APARTMENT NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL OF THE CASTLE The surroundings offer many activities: Ginestière lakes with a water park, (10 min drive) and Carla Bayle (20 min drive), wild swimming in the Ariège river (12 min drive), canoeing, tree climbing, hot springs, visits to prehistoric caves and Cathar Castles, hiking in the Pyrenees, original markets of local and organic products, including the famous markets of Saint-Girons, Mirepoix and Montbrun-Bocage. In winter, you can enjoy downhill skiing in the resorts of Monts d'Olmes and Ax-Bonascre, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the Beille plateau, all within an hour and a half's drive. Once parked in the Château square, you will discover a small church with its bell tower that only rings at noon...
