Château de Justiniac

It is a beautiful natural castle, quiet, facing south, with stunning views of the Ariège Pyrenees, in a large park of forests and meadows, 50 min from Toulouse. A small paradise ideal for enjoying a large family (birthdays, weddings, cousins...), creating between artists, organizing courses, seminars, or any other proposal... The space We rent the château from April to mid-November, only for groups of at least 10 people and for at least 2 nights. We can accommodate up to 40 people: - 20 people in the bedrooms (beds made, €50/pers/night) - 20 people in the 2 dormitories (unmade beds, €40/pers/night) In this castle you will find an excellent quality of life, total relaxation, in the middle of the wilderness, yoga classes, botanical walks... All this in a clean, comfortable place and with the possibility of spending beautiful evenings with music and under the stars. In summer, you can enjoy sunbathing on the south-facing terrace or the coolness of the large, shaded inner courtyard, while the children run around in the park without a care in the world. The château dates from the 18th century, built on 14th-century foundations, and has been renovated and decorated in a unique and original style, while retaining its authenticity. The rooms are modest, clean and pretty. Everything has remained as it always was, except, of course, for the bathroom facilities, bedding and Wi-Fi in all bedrooms. THE MAIN COURTYARD IS SHARED WITH AN APARTMENT NOT INCLUDED IN THE CASTLE RENTAL The surrounding area offers many activities: Lakes of la Ginestière with an aqua park (10-min drive) and Lake Carla Bayle (20-min drive), wild swimming in the Ariège River (12-min drive), canoeing, tree climbing, hot springs, visits to prehistoric caves and Cathar castles, hikes in the Pyrenees, unique markets for local and organic products, including the famous markets of Saint-Girons, Mirepoix and Montbrun-Bocage. Once parked on the Place du Château, you will discover a small church with its bell tower that only rings at noon... You pass the porch and enter a beautiful shaded inner courtyard giving access to: - The main entrance to the castle - A 90 m2 room for seminars, workshops, courses, ping-pong - The 2 dormitories The Château has: - 9 double or triple bedrooms including a suite with piano and bathroom and an apartment with a bedroom, kitchen and bathroom - 2 dormitories with 10 beds each - 4 bathrooms with toilet, including 2 with bathtub - A large, functional kitchen - A living room with a sound system - A 90 m2 terrace facing the Pyrenees - A shaded inner courtyard of 400 m2 - A large hall with French billiards and foosball - A 90 m2 room for seminars, courses, workshops, ping-pong - An outdoor shower - An open shed of 210 m² - Comfortable bedding and large closets available in each room - linens provided in the bedrooms (not in the dormitories) - Baby equipment: 1 chair and 1 bed - Free parking in the castle square Things to know: The accommodation includes stairs. There are 4 bedrooms on the ground floor to accommodate people who cannot climb stairs. We cannot accept pets. Wildlife is enough for us (deer, hedgehogs, squirrels and many birds, including the owl from the tower, which you can see taking off on summer evenings from the terrace…)
