Vantage Point Guest House Mountain Views

Charming 2-bedroom home located on 27 acres is a perfect retreat! Vantage Point is surrounded by apple orchards, fields and woods. Whether you stay for two nights or a month, our home has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing! Close to Middlebury & Middlebury College (20 min) and Vergennes (30 min). Ferry to Ticonderoga, NY is just 2 miles down the road as is a boat ramp to Lake Champlain. Recent updates include new washer and dryer, new oven, Roku smart tv. The space Quintessential Vermont Home. Cozy, clean and comfortable 2-bedroom guest house. There is a queen-size pull-out couch in a private living room (we call it the Red Room). It sleeps 2 people. Our guest house has a 240V outlet (NEMA 14-50) for charging electric vehicles. We also have Starlink for faster Wi-Fi. Main bedroom and the Red Room living room have mini split heating/cooling units. Main bedroom has a ceiling fan and a mini split heat pump which is for air conditioning and heat. Main living area and upstairs bedroom have A/C window units. Bathroom has radiant floor heat for chilly mornings. There is a small flat screen tv (no tv/cable service) with a DVD player and a collection of children's/adult DVDs. We have children's books, board games and outdoor games are available too like cornhole. There is a highchair, pack n' play crib, crib accessories- sheets, mattress pad, baby bath (we don’t have a bathtub), safety gates, and safety covers on most of the outlets. We provide a baby monitor if you want to be outside while your little one sleeps. We provide beach towels for your use if you go to a lake for swimming! A deck offers the perfect place to have your morning coffee or some outdoor dining. It's spacious with room to relax and take in the incredible views! Guest access Vantage Point Guest House is on the same property as our home. It is private with your own parking space (2 spaces). We do share a yard and you may occasionally see us walking back and forth to the chicken coop and barn. You might also get a visit from the chickens. You can use the backyard with the fire pit and walk out back to the woods where the sugar shack is located. There is a 1/2 mile trail in the sugarbush. Other things to note When coming and going be aware of the chickens! They don’t always move out of the way in the driveway. Just go around them on the grass if they block your path. We have Starlink Wi-Fi, but no TV/cable service. Cell service may be "iffy". We find Verizon cell service works best in Vermont.
