Avalon Daylesford Cottage

My beautiful cottage in the woods is named “Avalon” . A Quiet, eco friendly, off grid , Healing , romantic & peaceful oasis . Only a 10 min drive to Daylesford , you get the feeling of escape with the adventures of hiking trails, Hepburn spas, fine dining & nightlife all close by. Originally Canadian with a Norse/Germanic background I feel very connected to Nature & believe time spent here is Therapy we all so greatly need. As a Therapist I feel blessed to share it . The space This space is all off grid .There is a gas stove, microwave, kettle , toaster & small fridge.Dishes and glasses are provided .Tea & coffee & longlife milk is available .A CD player, & TV. There is a small reverse cycle for heating/cooler if needed. There is a Ned Kelly Wood burning fireplace. There is wifi but reception can be an issue at times unless you are with Telstra. All linen & towels are provided Water is rain tank and beautiful to drink The cabin is all off grid operated fully by solar panels, a battery house and a back up generator that has to be used manually if power goes off .Although very efficient consideration of keeping power use down is important .This really just means you need to remember not to have all the lights on at the same time . Guest access The entire cabin in the woods is yours to use . Private , romantic and cozy . Other things to note This cottage in on 5.5 acres on our residential property . We are only a approx 5/6 meters away in the main house. We also have dogs but they are kept in a well fenced area. We respect your privacy and expect you to do the same . Of course if you have questions or need any assistance we are very friendly . No parties are allowed Music can be low until midnight. No dogs No lit fires outdoor due to high risk fire hazards
