Charming 1922 home located in the heart of downtown Bardstown. Bardstown Bungalow is located in the heart of downtown Bardstown and a great central location for the Bourbon Trail experience. Bardstown Bungalow has old style charm and a homey feeling about it. Master bedroom-The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed, large en suite bathroom with a whirlpool tub. Bathrooms - are equipped with fluffy towels, toilet paper, tissues, cotton balls, q-tips, toiletries and hair dryers. Air Conditioning-There are two window air conditioner units located upstairs to supplement the central air. It stays as cold as you want it to be! Central air cools the rest of the house. A new unit was installed in 2019. The downstairs bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with an updated bathroom just steps down the hall. One bedroom was updated with fresh paint and decor in March 2023 Both bedrooms have TVs with basic CATV, ceiling fans, supplemental fans and heaters. The master bedroom and bathroom were freshly painted and updated in May 2020 The dining room has seating for six and was painted and updated in March 2019. The living room has a gas fire place, 50" smart TV, built in bookcases and a ceiling fan. Guests LOVE swinging on the front porch, sipping their favorite beverage. There is seating for six. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, frig, electric oven, spices, cooking essentials, some condiments, dishes, cookware and utensils, paper towels and napkins. There is also an equipped coffee and tea bar for your enjoyment. Snacks are complimentary. There is a five burner gas grill located in the backyard for your enjoyment. The back deck and yard has seating for six. A washer and dryer is located in the basement for extended stays. Just let me know in advance if you will need access to these appliances. When you rent the entire house you have access to two or three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, front porch and back deck, gas grill and washer and dryer (by request for extended stays). Guests have control of the air conditioning and heat. Self check in using a keypad with a door code that will be made available to you at 24 hours in advance of check in. The door code is also available from Airbnb prior to your arrival. I am always available to answer questions by phone or text (preferred). I love being an Airbnb host! Make yourself at home! My neighborhood is friendly with great neighbors and within walking distance to downtown. You will find restaurants, bars, museums, the Bourbon Festival, Arts and Crafts Shows and downtown concerts just a few blocks away. The Old Kentucky Home Dinner Train is one block from my home. There are several taxi services, shuttle service, horse and carriage ride and a van that can be rented with a driver to take you on the Bourbon Trail. Bardstown does not have Uber or Lyft. The staircase going upstairs is a little steep, but not uncommon in a house built in 1922. Also, I share the driveway to parking in the back of the Bungalow with my next door neighbor. I have two designated parking spaces. Two in front of the shed/garage and one on the concrete pad near the house. Feel free to use the yard if needed to maneuver. It can be tight at times, but normally there are no problems. Other than that most everything is easily explained in a welcome letter that is located in the kitchen upon your arrival.
