Fadmoor: Home on the edge of the village green.

We live in Fadmoor, right on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, between the beautiful dales of Farndale and Bransdale. Great for hiking and mountain biking, or sightseeing; York is 25m. COVID 19 PLEASE NOTE THIS ANNEX IS SELF CONTAINED. The accommodation is an Annex to our house, with its own entrance opening on to a utility area with downstairs toilet. There are two bedrooms, a separate shower room with toilet and a living/dining area. We only rent the Annex to a single party. The space You'll have your own entrance opening on to a large utility area and separate toilet. The living space comprises a large room with patio doors opening on to the gravel drive. There's a very comfortable lounge area with large sofa and chair at one end and a large dining area at the other. There's also a boot room for storage of outdoor gear. The two bedrooms, (one twin and one double with fold-up bed) and the shower room with toilet are on the first floor, accessed by a private staircase. The basic charge is for one or two guests using one bedroom. If there are two of you, but you'd like both bedrooms, we add an extra 50% to the fee. This will be added to the charge once you've booked, but please message to indicate that you'll require both rooms. We can provide a full size fold-up bed for the double room, more suitable for a child than an adult. You're welcome to use the facilities in the utility room which is part of the annex: sink; fridge/freezer; washing machine; tumble dryer; combi-microwave; portable electric twin hob. Tea, ground coffee, milk etc will be provided, as well as healthy cereals for a light breakfast. We can also provide a toaster / bread and jam on request. Wifi access is included, with good download speed and there is a strong 4G mobile signal. All bed linen and towels are also included. The shower is electric, so there's plenty of hot water available after a hard day walking or cycling! If you do need to clean boots or mountain bikes, there's an outside tap and hose. There's ample parking on the drive for several cars. If something you need isn't included in the listing, please just talk to us when you arrive and we'll help as much as we can. The Annex is connected to the rest of the house on the ground floor only, via a lockable door. We have a secure outbuilding for overnight storage of mountain bikes or motorbikes. We'll provide you with your own key. Sorry, but no guest animals accepted. Guest access NOT APPLICABLE UNTIL COVID RESTRICTIONS LIFTED. If you're staying for more than one night, we'll need to access the utility room during your stay, to use the washing machine etc, but we'll let you know in advance and it would only be during the day while you're out, so we don't intrude on your privacy.
