Moorside Cottage is a stylishly renovated holiday cottage annexed to, but separate from, family-run farm, Moorside Farm. Set in the beautiful Scottish countryside it offers a real taste of country living and the good life: comfy-chic rooms, modern, open-plan kitchen, home-grown food and homemade meals, fantastic views and plenty of fresh air. This peaceful, family-friendly place is perfect for a short or long-term getaway. Other things to note Our cottage backs onto the old Eastriggs MOD site It is 1200 acres and can offer very dark skies for stargazing during the darker months. We run a smallholding at the rear of our property and throughout the year have various animals (pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, sheep, Lambs...) as well as our Adopted Collie Pup Dora and wandering cat Bubbles. We also have a small pond, lots of sparrows during the season and the occasional deer (if you are up early enough) UPDATE Aug 2026: We now have a private wood-fired sauna, plunge pool and cold shower area available for rental in our adjacent field.
