Chalet on Holiday Lane, Leavenworth

Escape to the Chalet on Holiday Lane, located a stone's throw from Fish Lake, nestled in the serene mountain area near the Bavarian village of Leavenworth. The chalet is centrally located between Stevens Pass, 32 minutes from the cabin, and the town of Leavenworth, which is 30 minutes from the cabin. The Cove Resort, is just down the road were you can fish and Lake Wenatchee is 6 minutes away for swimming! We are 3 minutes away is Midway Grocery that serves coffee and ice cream. STR 000612 The space Our sweet little vacation chalet is situated on a lovely one acre lot in the woods and over looks Fish Lake. The chalet has an upstairs private bedroom--which has a super comfy king bed and one twin bed on the floor. Across the house is a loft with a banister that is open to the great room that has a standard twin, and under it a foam twin trundle that rolls out. Our kitchen is fully stocked, including some ingredients for cooking like spices, oils, and flour you may help yourself to! We have extra fresh sheets and towels, if needed. In the living room we have games, a TV with a DVD player only, we love family time--so have done this purposefully. The bedrooms have streaming TVs but are not hooked to cable. We have an outdoor shower that is only on during the summer, but stores sleds for use in the winter. Our fireplace is propane and more for ambiance, as our electric heat keeps the cabin nice a toasty. We have many other comforts of home, and are always happy to assist you if you need anything! Guest access A lockbox code is required to enter property which will be given after booking. Also, in the winter, all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive is necessary to access our location. Our driveway is plowed often but it's advisable to have chains if there is a snow storm and more traction is required. However, we have never needed to use them to access our place, but also have experience driving in the snow. Other things to note For walking to the lake, go down the driveway take a left on Humphrey's Drive and walk until you see a dirt road on the right. Follow the dirt road to the right until you cross a small bridge on the right. After the bridge is the Cove Resort campground. Make your way through the campground to the lake and general store. :) You may also drive out past Midway and turn right at the Cove sign to access by car and use their boat launch. PLEASE NOTE: *Long-term rental is currently not available. The maximum stay at this time is 2 weeks.
