COVID 19 Considerations:  We are taking this virus very seriously at the Troy Re-Treat and while nothing can be 100% prevented, we want you to know what steps were are taking to help address risks: - After every stay, we wipe down all surfaces, door handles and kitchen/bath fixtures with anti-microbal disinfectant - All bedding and towels are washed on a high heat/sanitize setting.  - In addition, with a separate, private entrance, self-check-in  and no shared common spaces such as lobby or bar/restaurant area you should find more comfort in staying at the Re-Treat. Layout: -The space is set up like a studio apartment. The kitchen has everything but a stove/oven. -The space has a comfortable queen size bed and a twin size pull out sofa. -Washer and dryer can also be made available for guests for an additional $10 per load (wash and dry). -Street parking is available - meters during the day (8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.) and free on nights and weekends. In the unlikely event that you cannot find parking, your hosts can assist for an additional fee of $25 per night. Hosts are always available via text or phone and are on the premises but the Troy Re-Treat has been created with privacy ease of use and comfort in mind. -Half a block away from Monument Square, in the heart of downtown Troy, enjoy strolling by the architectural grandeur that makes this Victorian city so stunning. -From May to October, step outside into our award winning Farmers Market for fresh pastries, produce and live music. -A few blocks from Russel Sage College, down the hill from RPI and Emma Willard, the Troy Re-Treat is great for visiting parents. -Coming to see a show at the acoustically perfect Troy Savings Bank Music Hall? The Troy Re-Treat is steps from its entrance. You are so close you can come back "home" during intermission for a quick drink or to avoid the lines for the bathroom. -Your hosts can help you find a reservation at one of the many restaurant options within walking distance. From fine dining to Dinosaur BBQ, to a variety of international cuisine options (Korean, Japanese, Moroccan, Lebanese, Vietnamese, Italian, Polish, Indian, to name a few), Troy has a bit of everything. Troy is known as being a great walkable city and it's truly the best way to take in its remarkable architecture and experience the city. Uber and Lyft are available in and around the Capital District. Public bus routes are a few blocks away. Public parking lots are within walking distance. Metered parking is in front of the Troy Re-Treat during the day but free on nights and weekends.
