Ottawa River Beach House: bar, hot tub & sauna

Relax and have some fun at this waterfront cottage with your own private sandy beach (175 ft. wide!) in L'Isle-aux-Allumettes, Quebec. The cottage is spacious with four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and equipped with a hot tub (brand new - 2024), two fireplaces, bar, sauna, and gym. You can enjoy the Ottawa River as well as explore the area through biking, walking, snowmobiling, and snow shoeing close by - the area feels peaceful! The space We are on a waterfront property so it’s perfect for all water activities: boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc.! We are happy to arrange paddle board rentals on your behalf. The water is shallow near the cottage which is great for kids, and gradually gets deeper the further you go out. The outdoor space was updated in 2022 with a new deck and Broil King bbq. There are Muskoka chairs, picnic table, hot tub and a fire pit. The hot tub is brand new (2024 model) and overlooks the water. You will also find a hammock hung between two beautiful trees to relax or take a siesta in while enjoying the breeze and view. If you are lucky enough to visit in late July or early August, there are huge raspberry bushes on the property. Also, there are walking/snow shoeing (multiple routes), bike, skiing, and snowmobile trails close by. Don’t miss the sunsets - there is an amazing view and it's a perfect way to unwind followed by a BBQ and bonfire! The kitchen is fully equipped. Crock pot, charcuterie boards, BBQ utensils, soda stream, blender - you name it! The kitchen island has bar seating for five people and it was updated in 2022 with an induction stove top as well as a new deep freezer in lower level. The dining room table has seating for eight people and overlooks the Ottawa River. The massive 500 sq. ft. master bedroom with an A-frame ceiling has a king bed, ensuite bathroom, large walk in closet, Roku tv, blackout blinds/curtains, and a private entrance out to the deck. It’s as spacious and cozy as it looks! The workout space is equipped with adjustable dumbbells (10-pound increments from 10 to 50 pounds), medicine ball, skipping rope, foam roller, resistant bands, and yoga mats. If your stay falls on a holiday, there’s a good chance the City of Pembroke will be setting off fireworks that can be seen from the beach. Guest access Guests have access to the entire property with the exception of the garage and locked storage rooms. Self check in. Plenty of parking!
