Hillview Cottage, along a quiet, country lane.

A pretty but newly built timber clad cottage just 5 minutes drive from jct 6 of the M5. in the quiet hamlet of Smite, along country lanes with views across fields & woodlands to the front & Worcester & The Malverns to the rear. The cottage has a private garden to the front with a seating and fruit trees to create shade. With country walks from the doorstep, the canal is 1/2 a mile away with a lovely tearoom and pub along its route Worcester, Pershore, Malvern & Birmingham within easy reach. The space Our little cottage in the garden looks like a lodge, with its own front garden, private parking and country lane views. It is light and airy but cosy at the same time. A continental breakfast is provided along with tea, coffee, coffee pods, and milk in the well equipped kitchen, with 4 ring gas hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. if you would like to order a goodie box ( see photos) we can organise this for you. The bedroom has views over looking the lane to the front, our veggie garden and chickens and the Malvern hills in the distance to the rear of the property. The double bed has a memory foam mattress topper and is super comfortable. There is plenty of storage in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. The lounge is double aspect and open plan to the dining area and is light and bright, there are 2, 2 seater sofas. The smart television has Netflix and Amazon. The dining table seats 2 but we do have spare chairs if required. Hillview has its own parking space through 5 bar gates to the front of the property, it is built on one level with a single step up into the bedroom. Smite Lane is very quiet with around 12 houses along it. We are surrounded by farm land and small copses, with lots of public footpaths. The canal is approx 1/2 mile down the lane and takes you into Worcester ( around 5 miles) or out into the countryside. So lots of walking and cycling, and paddleboarding opportunities. There are 2 local tea rooms. a lovely reward on a relaxing walk along the canal, a canal side pub, call before walking here! it is in a great location to explore Abberley Hills, The Malvern Hills, The Worcestershire Countryside, and also pretty towns such as Malvern, Pershore, Evesham and Broadway. Stratford is also accessible. There are local lakes to paddleboard and swim at and areas along The Severn. Droitwich has its park and Lido while Worcester has the cathedral, River Severn, cricket and rugby grounds. Please note that you are rural despite being close to Worcester so unless you are a walker you will need a car to get to pubs, tearooms and shops. We supply you with enough for your breakfast on your 1st morning, including a small sliced loaf, cereal, butter, milk, jam, a small cake, tea, coffee and sugar. Guest access You have your own kitchen, shower room, living room, dining area and bedroom along with a good sized garden area that belongs to Hillview. Private parking and easy access into the property. Other things to note There will be a welcome tray for when you arrive. Including breakfast cereals,a small sliced loaf of bread, butter Jams, cake and fresh eggs if the girls are laying. A pint of milk in the fridge. Tea, coffee and sugar. if its a special occasion please let us know. If you are bringing your dog please ensure you book them in, that they are not left alone in Hillview and that they do not go on the furniture, thanks.
