Welcome to our wee home in Edinburgh - where we stay when we aren't away! We’ve put a lot of care into our place and we hope you feel that the moment you arrive. It’s a calm, comfortable ground-floor flat with a private garden patio, which is a genuine bonus on a rare sunny Edinburgh day. You’re perfectly placed halfway between the historic city centre and vibrant Leith, both an easy walk away. The Balfour Street tram stop is just 5 minutes on foot, with direct links to the airport. The space Located in a quiet cul-de-sac just off Easter Road, our ground-floor home is a great base for exploring the city. 🧭 Getting around You’re halfway between Edinburgh city centre and Leith, with both an easy walk away. The Castle, Britannia, Holyrood Park and the Shore at Leith are all within 20-35 minutes on foot. Leith Walk is nearby for restaurants, cafes and independent shops, and Lidl is literally round the corner. 🛏️ Bedroom European king-size bed (160x200cm) with reading lights and bedside shelves. There’s a wardrobe, dressing table/ workspace with an extendable surface and bench seat. 🛋️ Living room ∙ Sofa, armchair and dining table for two ∙ HD Smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime ∙ Bluetooth speaker ∙ The dining table doubles as a workspace 🍴 Kitchen Well equipped for home cooking. Worth knowing: there’s a gas hob, oven, washing machine, cafetière and Nespresso-compatible machine. Please note there is: • No microwave • No freezer • No dishwasher • No tumble dryer. 🛁 Bathroom Shower over bath, mirrored cabinet and under-sink storage. 🪴 Garden patio Private to the flat with fold-away furniture, fantastic on a sunny Edinburgh day. Feel free to reach out with any questions you have. Guest access You’ll have full access to our home and everything inside. We clear out our personal belongings and wardrobes before every stay, so the space feels genuinely yours. The patio right outside the lounge door is private to the flat. The wider garden is shared with neighbours who mainly use it for hanging laundry, though they might say a friendly hello if you cross paths! Other things to note 🕰️ Early check-in requests We’re sorry that we can’t offer early check-ins. We hope you understand that we need a little time to have the place ready and welcoming for your arrival from 3pm onwards. 🚘 Parking We strongly advise against bringing a car - sorry about this! Parking in the area is honestly a bit of a nightmare. The city is rolling out permit zones across the neighbourhood, and while our street is still first-come-first-served, free spaces are very limited. We wouldn’t want you to spend your trip worrying about the car, so we’d say our home is best suited to those arriving without one.
