At the crossroads of Burgundy and Beaujolais, the Château de Chatenay Mâcon welcomes you to a place steeped in history and newly renovated. Our reception room can accommodate up to 15 guests, and we cook "fresh and local", menus adapted to your desires: dinners, brunch, picnic, breakfast, we take care of everything! The park, the large swimming pool, the tasting vault await you... The space The suite consists of a very spacious living room where you can have your meals, relax on the sofas in front of the large screen TV or rest in the king size bed (160 cm x 200 cm). In the ground floor bedroom, two beds (90 cm x 200 cm) and a dressing room are at your disposal. The bathroom is equipped with 2 sinks and a large shower (separate toilet). Finally, a kitchenette equipped with an oven, fridge, dishes, coffee maker, kettle, sink... On the first floor of the castle (stone staircase access), 2 wooden parquet bedrooms with a capacity of 4 people (possibility of adding an extra bed). Free secure private parking within the Château Independent access to the Suite allows you to enjoy the swimming pool, park, free private and secure parking, in complete autonomy. The bedding can be arranged according to your needs (single or duo). Baby cot and high chair are provided at no extra cost. The suite was completely renovated in 2020. Homemade meals and breakfast are offered at an additional cost. Private events and seminars are possible with a sleeping capacity for 13 guests. The charm and calm of the place are guaranteed and do not allow the organization of noisy events. The owners (Stéphanie and Christophe) are present 24 hours a day on site. Other guests may be present on the site, in the accommodation offered, except in the case of privatization. Each accommodation has a separate and private entrance. Guest access Train: Two stations available in Mâcon, Mâcon-ville and Mâcon-Loché TGV. Paris is 1 hour 40 minutes away and Lyon is 45 minutes away. On request, we will pick you up from the train station. Bicycle: Voie Verte and Voie Bleue 100 meters away. Motorized vehicles: easy access to A40, A6 and N6 nearby, without noise. Free private and secure parking. Electric vehicle charging station available at the Château. Tesla charging station 900 meters from the Château. Other things to note The Bourgogne Franche Comté region is full of remarkable sites to visit: the route of the great wines, the Roche de Solutré (20 minutes away), the Bresse, the Charolais, the hiking trails through vineyards, the banks of the Saône, Lyon... Exceptional gourmet restaurants... The green and blue bike paths (we rent electric or traditional bikes...). In short, plenty of activities for young and old - or just rest, relax in the garden, around the pool.
