The home has formally been know as Amity Rose Bed and Breakfast. It consists of 5 ensuite rooms and a half bath in the main common room downstairs. Your whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located home, just a 10 minute walk to town, restaurants and waterfront, and wineries in driving distance. Outdoor space consists of a front porch, stone patio with grill and a fire pit for night time gatherings after a day of wine tours from the many wineries in the area. The Amity Rose is a 5 bedroom home with each room having their own private bathroom. It is located just outside the village of Hammondsport and is just a short walk to town and the lake front. Champlin beach is just a 5 minute walk away and Depot Park is a 10 minute walk away. Inside the house you will find a nicely stocked kitchen with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove,oven and coffee maker. The dining room seats ten so there’s plenty of indoor seating at meals. If you still need more space, there is a second sitting room off the kitchen in the back by the fifth bedroom with additional dining or relaxing space. There are board games and puzzles for those rainy indoor days. There is a patio that has outdoor dining furniture and chairs for seating/dining. Use the lawn chairs and outdoor furniture to relax as you prepare your supper on the grill. For a wonderful way to end the day there is a fire pit to sit by and enjoy a smore or a glass of wine or two. The main floor has an additional sitting room tucked away to the back of the house and just in back of this sitting area is a bedroom with a Queen bed and a full bath with walk in shower. On the other end of the house, off of the main living room, is a large bedroom with a Queen size bed and an attached full bath with a jetted tub. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms each with a Queen size bed. One room has an large sitting area to enjoy some quiet time. Each room has a private bathroom with a shower and tubs, 2 being jetted. As a guest, you will find no lack of things to do. There are many places to hike in the nearby area, including Keuka Lake State Park and Watkins Glen State Park. There are many wineries/breweries around Keuka and Seneca Lake and Hammondsport has a wonderful lake front and town square with restaurants and shops. We ask that renters to be over the age of 25. By booking you agree with this policy and comply with the request that the renting party is over the age of 25. There is to be no more the 10 people in the home for the term of the rental. Our property is “smoke-free” and no vaping or fireworks are allowed. Accidents happen, if something should get broken or break we ask that you please notify us so we can have it fixed or replaced as soon as possible. We are dog friendly, 2 dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific approval. There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway and there is street parking if needed. We look forward to hosting you, your family and friends! You will have the entire house and property (other then the garage) to yourselves. There is a washer and dryer in the basement for your use, the other areas in the basement are the owners personal space and storage. We ask that you please respect this area and do not use or access. The garage is for the owners personal use as well. There is a second door to the garage back by the fire pit, this room has some yard games for your use, you may access here to retrieve the games. We are not on site to meet and greet but if any information is needed we are available by phone or text.
