This is an 1800s pioneer cabin upgraded to a comfortable and fully insulated modern home. The property is within the Sawyers Bar town limit and borders the Marble Mountain Wilderness and the Wild & Scenic Salmon River. The cabin is off-grid, with solar and a back up generator for power. It has phone and internet. The space The upstairs bedroom and deck have beautiful views of Tanner's Peak and the surrounding river and forest. One bedroom has 2 twin beds and is ideal for children. The Salmon River is across the street and trailheads to the Marble Mountain Wilderness and Pacific Crest Trail (Section 41) are 20 minutes away by car. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and to the quaint and quiet backyard and garden. Other things to note This is a fire-sensitive area. No candles in the house are allowed and a campfire is only allowed in the backyard fire pit with a water hose close by. The house is off-grid, with solar, battery storage, and a gas generator. Be mindful of your energy use and follow the guidelines for using the appliances closely. Upon check out, please make sure windows are closed and doors are locked.
