Inside, rest easy by the fire or in a queen size bed, eat in and prepare your meals in a fully functional kitchenette, work remotely using high speed internet access or watch your favorite movies on a smart TV. Outside, enjoy access to hiking, mountain biking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing right outside the door. Downhill skiing and Tahoe beaches are minutes away. *Your 400 sq ft studio suite including a private bathroom and kitchenette is upstairs on the second floor with exterior stair access. Please watch your step. *Off street parking is available for one vehicle. *Snow removal on roads can be delayed during storm cycles and is dependent upon the county's schedule. We recommend all wheel drive, 4 wheel drive or tire chains and a high clearance vehicle if you plan to travel during a winter storm cycle. On site snow removal may start as early as 4:00am. *Located on a quiet cul-de-sac. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Your hosts, Steve and Caren, are available by text or voice - or by simply knocking on the door of the main residence. We are happy to help with directions, recommendations and guidance. No question is too trivial. Feel free to ask. Craving adventure? This is your spot. Access the Tahoe Rim Trail, the PCT and local trail networks without ever having to get in your car. Cross country ski or snowshoe the Angora burn right from your door. Backcountry ski Angora, Echo and Flag Pole Peaks without worrying about where to park your car. Mountain bike trails begin directly across the street. Ski Heavenly or Sierra at Tahoe after a short 20 minute drive. Kirkwood is just 45 minutes away. Is the beach more your style? Tahoe's south shore beaches are only 20 minutes away. Local night life, shopping and dining are conveniently close by in Meyers, South Lake Tahoe, and Stateline. We are located in the county. In the winter time please plan appropriately for driving and weather conditions. Neighborhood streets are not plowed as frequently as the nearby highways.
