Gevrey-Chambertin, heart of the village and vineyard

From our large duplex, Coeur Chambertin, above the Tourist Office, everything is within walking distance: shops, wine estates, wine bars, restaurants for all tastes and budgets: from fast food, takeaway, to Michelin-starred dining. And of course walks in the vineyard, on foot or by bike! By car, 20 minutes from Dijon, 30 minutes from Beaune, 2 hours from Lyon. The space The Coeur Chambertin gîte is a large 85 m2 duplex apartment, in a small building in the center of the village, just above the Tourist Office. Ideal for sharing friendly, gastronomic and/or sporting moments, with family or friends. Travel, training, construction: our accommodation is also highly appreciated by professionals. Relax: upon arrival, the beds will be made and upon departure, cleaning is included. Bathroom linens are also provided. All you have to do is enjoy! Don't feel like shopping or cooking? You’re in the right spot! At the foot of the cottage, you can have breakfast at the village brewery bar (7€ formula). For your meals, 6 restaurants within 200 m: from the brewery to the starred table! Enjoy the best of Burgundian gastronomy and our Grands Crus... and walk home! Want to stay quiet at the cottage? Opt for take-out dishes, pizza or gourmet jars from our caterer "Le Clos du Roy". We can even deliver charcuterie and cheese boards from our regions, on the evening of your arrival, or during your stay. Let's take a look around! On the first level of the cottage you will find: - a large living area including living room and dining room. The sofa turns into a double bed of 140 in a few seconds ("rapido" system) - Fully equipped adjoining kitchen with oven, stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher and everything you need to prepare your breakfasts and meals. - in the extension of the kitchen, small bedroom with bunk beds; perfect for children, can be suitable for adults for a short stay. - toilet with washing machine. On the 2nd level: - 1 large bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed + storage - 1 bedroom with 1 double bed - 1 shower room with toilet. For the little ones, some books and toys and on request a portable crib and high chair. For teens, reassure them: they'll have Wi-Fi! Guest access the accommodation is fully accessible. Other things to note Activities, tours, tastings… The Tourist Office team just below the apartment is at your disposal. You can also find brochures in the apartment. Our favorites: - La Halle Chambertin, right next to the apartment: discover the wine, historical and natural heritage of the capital of the Grands Crus of Burgundy... and end with a discovery tasting! - From the apartment, or from the surrounding villages, many hiking trails will lead you through the Climats of Burgundy (listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the forests, the heritage (Château de Gevrey-Chambertin), the gardens and within the Combe Lavaux National Nature Reserve. - The Route des Grands Crus: 38 picturesque wine villages of the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, between Dijon and Beaune then to Santenay, over a length of 60 km. Discover by bike (electric if needed!). And the Burgundian highlights you won't want to miss: - The famous Château du Clos Vougeot, cradle of the Confrérie du Tastevin, in the heart of the vineyard, 10 minutes away - Dijon, its listed historic center, free museums and the Cité de la Gastronomie (opening May 22) 20 minutes away - Beaune and its Hospices 30 minutes away.
