A cosy guest suite with pretty cottage gardens

The Walker's Retreat is a self-contained guest suite, a modern part of a delightful 18th century Grade II Listed thatched cottage. The pretty cottage gardens provide a perfect retreat after a day's exploring. Situated in the peaceful village of Wanborough, at the foot of the ancient Ridgeway and North Wessex Downs, Wanborough boasts 5 village pubs all serving a variety of lovely home made meals. It is 30 mins by car to Avebury stone circle and the Cotswolds and 40 minutes to Bath and Oxford. The space Walker's Retreat consists of a private living room, private kitchenette, private bedroom, and a private bathroom. The living room includes a small table and chairs, a 2-person settee, and a small TV that has a valid Amazon Prime Video subscription and a Fire TV stick. The bedroom includes a double bed which is a single UK standard double bed which has the following size - 4'6" x 6'3" (135 cm x 190 cm). The bedroom also has a small wardrobe and a chest of drawers. In the chest of drawers we have included a hair dryer for your use. We also provide 2 bath/shower towels and 2 hand towels for your stay, which will be placed on the bed for when you arrive. The private bathroom includes a walk-in shower, bathroom sink, bathroom mat, and toilet. We will include shower gel, shampoo, and hair conditioner together with a couple of rolls of toilet paper for your stay. The kitchenette includes the following. • A microwave • George Foreman grill • Ninja Air Fryer • Microwave dishes/pans • Toaster • Fridge • Kettle • Cafetiere • Tea pot • Some tea bags, ground coffee, and sugar • A small bottle of milk (in the fridge) • Kitchen knives • Corkscrew • Small chopping board • Plates, bowls, and mugs • Knives, forks, and spoons • Glasses (wine, champagne, tumblers, and pint) Please note that there is no oven or cooker, neither is there a cooker hob.
