Rustic Mountain Family Adventure w/ game room!

Welcome to the The Jasper Octagon! Located at the tip top of Mt. Oglethorpe in the beautiful Bent Tree community of Jasper. Three thousand feet elevation AND paved access. The original start of the Appalachian Trail is visible from the driveway. Hiking trails, lake, beach, fishing, 18 hole golf and horseback riding all located in the community! A short drive to town has lots cute restaurants to chose from and you’re only an hour and a half from Atlanta. The space Come play in our 2200 sq ft 3 bedroom, 3 bath Octagon with a loft giving you plenty of space for the whole family to spread out! The main level has a cozy screened in porch with bistro table and egg chair to relax in and watch the sunset. Two bedrooms and a full bath are located on the main level along with a fully equipped eat in kitchen and seating area with a smart TV. All bedrooms have a smart tv with Netflix, Hulu, Prime and Disney+ The basement is a dream for kids and kids at heart with shuffleboard, board games, 2 arcade machines and a large sectional with a 70” smart tv. You will also find the bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds and a half bath here. The upstairs loft has more room to play with 2 nuggets to lounge on or build forts with, a cozy hanging chair and the entrance to the 7 foot slide - weeee! From the upper deck you can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains full of deer and other wildlife and enjoy outdoor dining. There is also a propane firepit, charcoal grill and covered picnic area so you can sit by the fire or roast marshmallows under the stars. A hiking trail starts just 20 feet from the driveway, the original start of the Appalachian trail! We love your pets and are happy for you to bring them but you MUST keep them on a leash at all times outdoors. We have frequent bear visitors and rules from the community we must adhere to in order to allow us to continue to be able to host your pets!
