Steamboat Cozy Studio Loft with mountain view

Welcome to our Steamboat Springs mountain home! We live in Denver and love Steamboat. We are seasoned hosts & have stayed in many Airbnb's ourselves. Our goal is to make our place as enjoyable as the best places we have stayed at. The loft is on the 3rd floor (great way to get your steps in!) and is quiet, comfortable & cozy. We want to share it with you to make your Steamboat trip special and hope you feel at home! Contact us with questions. Jenny & Ric The space COVID-related..We have worked with our cleaning company to have standard processes in place. Our place is a short walk (half mile) to the mountain base in Summer. In Winter, it is one of the first stops on the free shuttle, which you can catch just up the stairs and across the parking lot. For going downtown (a short 3 mile ride), the free city shuttle has service all year round. The complex has 2 hot tubs and a heated pool, which the condo is located close to, but our unit faces away from the pool area so there isn't excess noise. Our place is a studio loft on the top floor (3rd floor, no elevator) which has floor to ceiling windows giving it an open, airy feeling. Upstairs (via a spiral staircase) is an open bedroom with a comfy queen bed and a half bath. Downstairs, there is a sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, full bath, fully stocked kitchen and a patio facing Steamboat's ski mountain. Our unit faces the main parking lot and steamboat ski mountain, but the lot and complex are fairly quiet almost all of the time. Our condo can comfortably sleep 2 adults. Beyond that it can be tight, but it can sleep up to 3 adults (our couch is super comfy or there is a sofa bed) or 2 adults and 2 kids if needed. We would like to provide an update based on past guest feedback, we take all feedback seriously and look for ways to improve the stay for future guests! In February 2022, we upgraded the fireplace from the original old 1970s gas unit to a brand new gas fireplace unit that lights with the push of a button. Also, we replaced the refrigerator with a new super cute red one that works great and has plenty of room for food :-). Guest access You will have the entire place to yourself. Other things to note Our home is a non-smoking unit and illegal drugs are not allowed. The complex is well known for being respectful of all other units, so we ask that you avoid loud music, etc after 10pm. Please help us take care of our home away from home.
