Bright apartment in historic Grant Park. This charming apartment is part of a 1910 home configured as a duplex. Restaurants, coffee shops, and a local grocery store are a 2 minute walk away at “The Larkin”. Historic Grant Park, the Atlanta Zoo, and Historic Oakland Cemetery are all located within 5-10 minutes walking. The Martin Luther King MARTA station is a 10-15 minute walk away. You're within 3 minutes of I-20 and 5 minutes of the I-75/I-85 connector. The space There's seating for 4-5 people in the living room/TV area. The living room has a 40 inch smart TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix. You are welcome to sign into your own streaming services. The dining table in the living room is set for 3 but can accommodate 4 with the extra chair located in a closet off the living room. Please try to use the supplied coasters for drinks on our wood tables. There's a Bluetooth speaker on the sideboard in the living room that you can easily connect to. Wifi is very fast with good signal throughout the entire apartment. The kitchen has a microwave, toaster, dishwasher, gas range, refrigerator+ice maker, as well as a coffee maker with coffee and tea supplies. There are plenty of dishes, glasses, flatware, and pots+pans. There is a small eat in table with stools in the kitchen. The kitchen sink has a garbage disposal. Both bedrooms are large and feature queen beds, cube shelving for clothing+belongings, open closets with plenty of hangers, and desks. The adjustable translucent window shades let plenty of light in while providing privacy; gray blackout curtains can be drawn to darken the bedrooms completely. The bathroom comes stocked with plenty of clean bath and hand towels. 2021 update - We’ve recently updated the HVAC to mini splits - each bedroom has its own independent unit and temperature control. The shared space has a single unit with independent control. We’ve also updated the main kitchen counters and installed a larger sink and new faucet. The last few pictures in the listing show the changes. Outside there's a small covered porch that catches plenty of morning sun. Guests do have the option of having access to a laundry room shared with the long-term renter upstairs. Please let us know if you will require access to laundry and we will coordinate an access code and times. We provide trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, and a hair dryer. Please note this is a duplex and there is a long-term renter upstairs. No smoking inside, no excessively loud music/TV, and no parties. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment and outside porch where the main entrance is located. In the back of the apartment there is a rear entrance that typically stays closed and locked. The rear entrance allows access to the shared laundry room.
