Bikes, kayaks ( rate sheet for use of kayaks is located in our house manual) paddleboards and snowshoes, according to the season, are available by arrangement with the hosts. Seasonal passes for the lovely private beach at Queechy Lake, just a few minutes away, allow for summer swimming. Queechy Lake is a natural spring fed lake and one of the cleanest in NYS. A selection of wonderful games, books and movies are available to guests. There are two large screen Roku TVs offering streaming Netflix, HBO, Showtime and other popular entertainment and news channels. With a cell tower less than a mile away, phone and data service is normally very good. We maintain trails on both our properties (12 acres total), offering country strolls and mountain biking, or XC skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Our neighboring network of dirt roads also offers biking and hiking opportunities. Close to all the wonderful places of interest and cultural activities of the Berkshires and Hudson Valley. A short drive from Tanglewood, Shakespeare & Co, Kripalu, The Mount, Hancock Shaker Village, Jiminy Peak, Catamount, Bousquet, etc.
