Stunning peak district views- relax, walk, climb.

Soak in the amazing views of the hope valley from the patio with a fire pit or the lounge with a cosy log burner or from the master bedroom to look at the stars. Our family home is located in the heart of the peak district (up a big hill!)- it is not perfect but it is warm and welcoming & pet/family friendly. You can walk or cycle to the amazing Stanage edge from our doorstep - a climbers playground, or you can walk down in to the village of Hathersage. The space The house is a family home which we live in for most of the year with two children and our dog. We hope we have created a welcoming space for our guests. The back of the house (which you park by) is a bit disappointing but don't worry the stunning views are around the other side! The kitchen diner is fully equipped and you will have access to basic cooking supplies. please note it is an INDUCTION hob & electric oven . A high chair can be supplied on request. The lounge has stunning uninterrupted views of the hope valley, if the weather is good the patio and fire pit make a fun evening (please be mindful of our neighbours and keep quiet from 10pm). If the weather is bad, try curling up on the sofas with the log burner, we have lots of board games and children toys you can access. The Master room also has a bay window with stunning view and a king size bed. The attic bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has a toddler bed and a double sofa bed. On request the toddler bed can be made into a cot. The garden is on a steep hill, and children should be supervised at all times. The lower garden shared with no fences and not fully secure for dogs but the top part is relatively secure. The garden is an on going project - As you will see some parts of the garden we are still developing - these have been fenced off for your safety. It is the perfect location for exploring the peaks and we can give you lots of recommendation on walks, family friendly days out, adventurous runs or climbs. Guest access Guest will have access to the full house, private parking and private garden. The bottom part of the garden with the lower firepit and camping pitches are in shared space with the neighbours, please be respectful. We asks that guests do not use the climbing frame/treehouse as it is home built and not safe for guests to use. Other things to note The attic bedroom has a climbing wall on the staircase up to it- again we ask for guest to not use this as a climbing wall due to safety.
