The Waterfront Retreat w/ Pool & Boathouse

Relax with the family at this beautiful Roanoke Rapids Lakehouse featured on VisitNC (link included in pictures). Bring your own boat to fish or ski the day away, with the ability to moor it up at the boathouse for easy everyday use. Make memories with everyone on the floats, kayaks, paddleboard, peddleboat, or enjoy a family dip in the pool catching the sunset. Dogs are welcome for a pet fee (2 dog max). The space PLEASE READ ENTIRE SECTION: *****NO PETS ARE ALLOWED ON THE FURNITURE ***** minimum $100 for extra cleaning if guest allow pets on beds or furniture. Room Floor Plan: • Upper Level – Loft room. kids' bedroom/ playroom with TV. 4 Twin beds • Main Level – Primary bedroom (1 King) (if you have children, an air mattress would work in this room to keep your little ones close). Guest Room 1 (1 Queen), Guest Room 2 (1 Queen). Spend the mornings enjoying your coffee out on the upper deck or down below on the patio overlooking the beautiful lake. Afternoons can be spent fishing, boating, swimming, kayaking or just relaxing in the sun on the swim dock. After a day of fun and sun you can enjoy an evening around the outdoor fire pit or cuddled up on one of the sofas watching your favorite shows. There are plenty of board games and yard games for the kids and young at heart to play. CAUTION: Due to the nature and very rural location of the home on a lake there is a potential to encounter various wildlife and insects. Deer, otters, bald eagles, fish, foxes, snakes (venomous and non-venomous), frogs, turtles and other wildlife are seen almost daily. And we have a variety of insects that naturally live in the trees and wooded areas to include spiders, ticks, ants, mosquitoes, beetles, silverfish, bees, wasp and flies. We do our best to keep them out, but they may come in when doors or windows are left open. We have a Pest Control service that sprays monthly for a large variety of pest. Please help us keep them out of the house and clean up after yourself. WARNING: Potential for electric shock when swimming near boat docks. Please swim at least 150 ft away from the boat docks at all times. Up to 2 dogs allowed with $100 non-refundable pet fee. If you have a dog/s and want to bring it/them, then register them upon booking. Honesty is the best policy (smile). Guest that fail to register dogs will be removed from the property without a refund. ******* SEPARATE SECURITY DEPOSIT********** - SD is waved if you are one of our amazing returning guest or if you have 3 or more 5-star reviews with no bad reviews. - We will require a separate Security Deposit of $500 paid directly to us through the Resolution Center, which will be requested at booking. You will have 47 hours to deposit it or risk cancellation of your reservation. The additional security deposit is for violations of House Rules, unreported guest or pets, damages, or lost items from the property. If there are NO additional charges upon check-out we will REFUND the full Security Deposit through the Resolution Center within 7 days. **** In case of hurricanes, storms, inclimate weather or due to necessary repairs/maintenance, certain amenities may be closed, in repair, and/or unavailable during your stay. Thank you for your understanding. ****** Other things to note One of the best features of our home is a beautiful view from poolside overseeing the lake. There is a gorgeous, lighted stairway to the water and a small beachy area by the boathouse. We include a firepit, cornhole set for your enjoyment. To complete your stay, we have an open boat slip open for your use (depending on the size of your boat), kayaks, and a table and chairs on the dock. We can provide information on renting motorized watercraft (ski boats, pontoons, waverunners) and can help with fishing information as well. In addition to all the perks of lake life, the Roanoke Rapids/ Lake Gaston area offers great antique shopping, a variety of restaurants, and fantastic hiking opportunities with nearby Roanoke Canal Museum and Trail. Just 20 minutes away is the Weldon Mills Distillery for tours and fine spirits or for "Real Spirits" you can visit Haunted Littleton. Fun to be had for all! When you want to get away from it all but do not want to travel far, Roanoke Rapids is the perfect destination.
