A 200-year-old red farmhouse in timber, formerly a farmhouse. With a wonderfully cozy upstairs where floors, ceilings and walls consist of old beautiful logs from pines that grew in the forest next door. High ceilings. Wonderful lake view of a bay to the Baltic Sea leading into Nyköping. Here you live in a historic house, built in 1835, in classic Swedish style. The space The house is in a residential area in the middle of nature and with nice hiking trails (Sörmlandsleden) nearby. There are nature reserves as well as three beaches nearby. Strandstuvikens Havsbad is a short walk away (3 minutes by car, 1200 meters) and Örstigsnäs swimming area can be reached in 5 minutes by car (2.1 km). As a guest with us, there are a number of bicycles in several sizes at your disposal throughout your stay. Terraces with sun from morning to night. Next to the house there is also a natural patio and garden furniture overlooking the sea bay Nyköpingsfjärden that leads into Nyköping. Three fireplaces that warm well if the weather is a little cooler. Firewood included. Kitchen with dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, iron, mixer and coffee maker. New bathroom, equipped with washing machine. No parties allowed! Smoking is strictly prohibited! Large garden shared with the host couple. The main house and the farmhouse are facing each other with a courtyard in between. The houses are located in a residential area with many families with children in the houses around. The host couple has cats that come and visit in the courtyard house sometimes. Guest access On the large lawn, visiting children are welcome to play soccer, swing and other fun outdoor games. Soccer goal and above-ground pool on site. Playground is on the beach, 3 minutes by car. Bicycles in several sizes, even for children, and a kickbike are available to borrow. Bicycle seat for small children is available. Bring your own bicycle helmets. In summer (May-October) we also lend out our rowing boat, which is located at one of the beaches. Please let us know the day before. Other things to note You will bring your own sheets and towels. Cleaning is included in the price. The house is not suitable for people with limited mobility and does not have complete child safety equipment. If you want a crib and high chair, please let us know when booking. You will then bring the sheets for the crib yourself. The pool next to the guest house is mentioned in some reviews, but it is no longer included in the rental.
