The space This lovingly maintained log cabin, renovated down to the studs in 2022, perfectly blends rustic charm with modern luxury. The heart of the home is the fully equipped, open-concept kitchen, complete with granite counters, a hammered copper sink, and a gas stove that beckons you to create everything from morning pancakes to gourmet dinners. The kitchen island is destined to become your favorite spot for morning coffee or evening wine. Wide-plank pine floors flow throughout, and a side entry mudroom leads to a living room that's straight out of a magazine with three walls of windows that flood the space with natural light. A Hearthstone gas stove, keeps the space cozy on chilly nights and every room maintains perfect comfort year-round, thanks to individual climate control units. Upstairs, the master bedroom feels like a luxury treehouse with its soaring cathedral ceiling and private en-suite bathroom. The king-size bed, dressed in 100% cotton linens, promises the kind of sleep that only mountain air can deliver. Downstairs, two more bedrooms await—one with a plush queen-size four-poster Chinese bed, the other with two single beds, perfect for kids or friends. Each bedroom has its own patio door, bringing the outside in, and access to sparkling new bathrooms with glass-enclosed tiled showers. There's even a full laundry setup with a front-loading, full-sized washer and dryer. All furnishings, fabric window treatments, and oriental rugs were carefully selected and, when possible, locally sourced to create the perfect mountain escape. Hillside House, built in 2015, sits just across a picturesque wooded lawn with four more bedrooms and bathrooms – close enough for convenience for larger gatherings yet far enough for privacy. Other things to note We work hard and play hard so we need our rest. There are strict limits on noise levels between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Ordinances will be enforced by any law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the short-term rental property. A violation of this ordinance will result in termination of the contract. Please refrain from loud, boisterous talking if in a group. We want to keep a good relationship with our neighbors. Make sure outdoor spaces are left neat and tidy, the same way as when you got to the property. Do not leave any trash or garbage bags outside as it will attract unwanted wildlife. Garbage is to be placed in the garbage shed, or “Little Chalet” as we call it. If traveling in the snow, we highly recommend having a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The road will be plowed, but beautiful winters in the Adirondacks can sometimes be unpredictable! Check in time is 4:00pm. Check-in is at Adirondack Realty office at 1774 NY state Rt 73. Check-out time is 10:00am. The property is furnished with a start-up supply of paper and soap products, including paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing soap, garbage bags, spices, shampoo and hair dryer. No pets permitted. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the grounds. Failure to comply will result in a fee of $500.00. Please respect local fire ban laws.
