This Airbnb is the exclusive rental of our venue named Forte di Sorgnano. With this Airbnb you rent the entire estate in exclusivity, the garden, restaurant and internal hall are for private use. Guest access Tenuta di Forte Sorgnano is the perfect place to relax, surrounded by nature and tranquillity, but it is also an excellent starting point for visiting some of the most beautiful Umbrian cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto, Bevagna, Montefalco and to discover the charm of the Umbrian territory. The peculiarity of the estate is the Castle of Sorgnano, whose origins date back to the Lombard period which, suspended between earth and sky, stands perched on the south-west edge of the estate. The farmhouse consists of 4 farmhouses. The main one, a recently renovated 19th century farmhouse, houses 8 two-room apartments 2 + 2, the second cottage houses 2 three-room apartments 4 + 2 150 meters from the swimming pool, while the main house houses the restaurant and the rooms. The family suite x 4 is located on the first floor of the main house. The very comfortable suite consists of a double bedroom, a smaller bedroom with two single beds and a private bathroom with shower. Bright and welcoming, it is characterized by the presence of some typical details of the Umbrian architectural and decorative style such as terracotta impruneta, terracotta tiles and exposed chestnut beams. The houses and rooms of the estate are bright and welcoming, equipped with all comforts and characterized by a rustic and elegant style at the same time. There are some details of traditional architecture such as Impruneta terracotta, terracotta tiles, chestnut beams and 19th century Umbrian style furniture. The farmhouse offers many services: restaurant, swimming pool with solarium, walking paths. Guests will have access to all the services available: swimming pool, gym, mountain bike, table tennis, children's playground, farm with animals, soccer field, volleyball court, bowling green, barbecue area, walking paths. with picnic areas, billiards and even a mini pool and restaurant. During your stay our restaurant is open. To this enchanting setting, be assured that the menu will highlight the traditional Umbrian cuisine that will suit even the most refined palette. On you desire, you can use our outdoor terrace of more than 200 square meters which is surrounded by flowers beds and ancient olive trees. Within Forte Sorgnano also has a farm with animals, which houses the goats (Miele and Bebè), pigs (Pino e Pina) even rabbits, geese, chickens, guinea fowl and ducks. Other things to note The Country House is located on top of a hill, 450 meters above sea level, in a position that makes it unique for its panorama and tranquillity. Forte Sorgnano is also a farm that covers 208 hectares. 180 hectares are made up of woods while the remaining 28 hectares host a centuries-old olive grove that surrounds all 3 buildings that make up the structure.
