It’s perfect for your next vacation offering endless opportunities for relaxation, adventure or ice cream. Once a horse barn, this 1500 sq ft has been fully restored in 2021. The property has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and the Ice House Creamery is attached to the Airbnb where we make our own homemade ice cream. The space Guests will be greeted with a new and modern home. When you walk into the mudroom you will find plenty of space to hang all your winter coats or store the beach chairs and beach toys. As you enter the home you will find a master bedroom with queen bed and its own master bath. There is a second bedroom with a queen bed and the perfect kids bedroom with two twin bunks made from the wood reclaimed from the barn. There is a second full bath also for guests. The living room is a spacious room with windows lining the wall lined and glass french doors offering uninterrupted views of Squam. Relax on the leather couches with a fire in the gas fireplace or sit at the mango wood dining table for a formal dinner. The kitchen boasts all new new stainless steel appliances and a grand marble island. The Beach Outside you are greeted with your own brick patio and grill. Relax in the Adirondack chairs or enjoy lunch at the picnic table. Just across the street you have access to a 900+ ft shared private beach. The beach is not open to the piblic but to those who have purchased a beach pass. Relax on the beach with chairs and beach towels provided, swim out to the dock or have lunch at one of the many picnic tables. And of course, you are literally steps away from as much homemade ice cream as you could want from the Ice House Creamery. Come and relax by Little Squam’s pristine lake water and enjoy some small town charm and outside adventure! The Creamery During the summer months the Ice House Creamy is open to the public at 12:00 pm and there is always a lot of excitement and activity in and out of the property. On Saturdays we have live music at the creamery for 2 hours which you are welcome to come over and enjoy with us or enjoy it right from your fenced brick patio. The Creamy is closed from October to the middle of May Walking distance from boat marinas, public boat launch, the library, downtown Holderness and Squam Market or Walters Basin for some of the most delicious food around and of course, gorgeous views, This lake house is also available to rent by the week or month for the ski season. We are located just 13.6 mi to Tenney Mt, 21.5 mi to Gunstock and 27.5 mi to Ragged just to name a few. When you're not skiing, try ice fishing on Squam or ride the miles of snowmobile trails nearby that can be accessed right across the street. We offer a high-speed Wi-Fi and air-conditioning throughout the house. The Ice House Creamery barn was moved to its current location in 1985. The barn is a classic timber frame, originally built in the late 1800s and was used to shelter horses as well as a gun shop. In 2021, we embarked on our own adventure of a restoration of the barn. This included a full structural straightening of the barn, restoration of the cupola, preservation and reuse of original timbers and barn board as well as state of the art energy efficient systems. This includes the space that is now the Ice House Creamery which is next door! Guest access The door will be unlocked for you upon your arrival. Other things to note The Ice House Creamery, where we make our own homemade ice cream is part of the same building and right next door to you. We have provided beach towels and beach chairs for you to enjoy at the lake.
